Understanding CGPP
The Corporate Green Power Programme (CGPP) is a government initiative that enables businesses to source renewable energy to support their sustainability and ESG goals.
Through CGPP, corporate consumers can participate in the renewable energy market without owning generation assets, allowing greater flexibility in how green power is procured and used within business operations.
CGPP is implemented through a virtual power purchase arrangement, leveraging the existing New Enhanced Dispatch Arrangement (NEDA) framework to ensure transparent scheduling, settlement, and market integrity.
